New York Hitting Baseball Academy set to start 2008-2009 Indoor Fall and Winter baseball workout programs.
NYHITTINGACADEMY will start its fall and winter work-out sessions Starting September 29th at Jackie Roosevelt Robinson Gym and Hansborough Recreational Gym
.NYHITTINGACADEMY is the only year round baseball academy In New York City and is based in Harlem New York.
The academy in 4 short years of its existence has placed 10 NYHITTINGACADEMY alum in Division 1 and Division II Colleges and also placed 2 Major League Draft picks in the 2008 Baseball draft.
Founder Youman Wilder is a private baseball instructor, who founded the academy in 2004 and has been an hands own instructor to the 50 students who now are part of the academy.
NYHITTINGACADEMY will do indoor weight,running and baseball workouts throughout this upcoming Fall and Winter 2008-2009 off season.The academy is a year round academy that has taken 13 and 14 year olds and instruct them for a 4 year program.The academy stresses Education and solid baseball fundamentals and emphasis hitting fielding,pitching and running on a higher skill level that is sorely missing in the Youth and Public school Baseball leagues in New York City as well as Nation wide.
The academy stresses speed,power and athleticism, The year round fee is $100 application fee and there are also scholarships that are provided to deserving ball players.
